On each card in this deck you will find the Asana (pose), its Sanskrit name and several anatomy-informed proprioceptive cues.

These cues are meant to help you not only set up the posture, but take each asana deeper and properly activate the musculature that each pose targets. Proper activation creates “energetic locks,” or bandhas, which help build structural support around the joints.

These cues are based on the concepts of joint alignment, reciprocal inhibition and co-activation.
